Rajasthan PTET 2024: Notification of Rajasthan PTET 2024 released

The official notification of Rajasthan PTET 2024 has now been released by Vardhman Mahavir Open University, Kota. Rajasthan PTET 2024 Notification information 

Online applications for PTET 2024 in Rajasthan for two-year courses and four-year integrated BA B.Ed or B.Sc B.Ed has started from March 6, 2024. These applications can be made till 31 March 2024. The examination will be conducted on 9 June 2024. For the first time this examination is being conducted by Vardhman Mahavir Open University. Guidelines for applying are available on the official website of the university.

Last time PTET 2023 was conducted by Guru Gobind Tribal University, Banswara. At that time the examination was held on 21 May 2023. Then 328094 applications were received for two-year B.Ed and 168214 applications were received for four-year B.Ed. This time PTET 2024 is being organized by Vardhman Mahavir Open University. Application fee for Rajasthan PTET 2024

An application fee of Rs 500 has been kept for all the applicants who will apply under Rajasthan PTET 2024. The applicant will have to pay this application fee by 31 March 2024. For more information you can see its official notification.

Educational Qualification for Rajasthan PTET 2024 (Rajasthan PTET 2024 Educational Qualification)

The following conditions have been laid down in determining the educational qualification for Rajasthan PTET 2024 –

PTET 2024 Syllabus : For this course, it is mandatory for the candidates to pass graduation and post graduation examination from a recognized university. It is mandatory for the candidates to obtain at least 50% marks for General Category and Economically Backward Class, and at least 45% marks for other categories of Rajasthan as per the state government rules.

BA-B.Ed or B.Sc-B.Ed course 2024 : For this course, it is mandatory for the candidates to have passed 12th class from a recognized board. They need to score at least 50% marks for general category and economically backward class, and at least 45% marks for other categories of Rajasthan.

 Note :- This year, students studying in class 12th can apply for BA-B.Ed or B.Sc-B.Ed course 2024. They have the facility to apply online for PTET 2024. But, they must be eligible by the last date of counseling registration to participate in the counselling. That is, they should have the mark sheet with the eligibility marks by the last date of counselling.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Exam Pattern

The question paper of Rajasthan PTET 2024 will be optional whose exam duration will be of 3 hours. There will be a total of 200 questions in this paper which will be of total 600 marks. There will be no negative marking of any kind in this examination. For more information you can see the table given below –

Note: The question paper of Rajasthan PTET 2024 will be set in both Hindi and English languages. Questions related to mental ability, teaching aptitude, general awareness, and language skills (Hindi or English) will be asked in the examination. A total of 200 questions will be asked in the exam, which will be of total 600 marks. Each question will be worth 3 marks. But weighting of marks for questions in Teaching Aptitude and Ability section will be 3, 2, 1, 0. Negative marking will not be used in Rajasthan PTET Exam 2024.
